Dealflow Venture Capital and Alternative Fund Principal

Odysseus Alternative Ventures (OAV) is looking to hire a Dealflow and Investment Manager (Principal level) in London. We have offices in London, Zurich, Luxembourg and Paris. Opening in Abu Dhabi. Ideally, London location !

Created by 2 serial entrepreneurs with a track record in venture capital and alternative funds, we look to hire and build not only a VC Team but also Entrepreneurs to help us grow and scale the firm.

We’re looking for someone with a passion for all things tech. The Dealflow Manager will work directly with our Investment Partners to ensure that every investment opportunity is documented and reviewed by the relevant parties within the Investments team. This is your chance to be exposed to an endless amount of potential investment opportunities across all sectors and stages, and learn about new markets and sectors.

Job description:

• Initial assessment, processing and documenting of all incoming requests for funding. We want to build a technology holding company creating new business in financial services
• Oversee deal flow and pipeline management for the multiple groups across the firm. We combine alternative funds with technology to search for new business opportunities in large markets
• Provide the Managing Partner and Investment Team with information regarding key metrics of the dealflow funnel. We want a future partner to the firm
• Continually update the progression of funding applications within the back-office database. We source via quantitative research and not only in attending conferences
• Liaise with the team as needed to improve the quality of data stored in the database. We look in global sources
• Coordinate with database developers to further enhance UI as required. We have proprietary dealflow

 

Requirements:

• Team Player. Can you cope with @ChristopheReech and @Minh_Q_Tran?
• Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Can you invest in startups while being yourself in a startup asset management company?
• Must have an uncanny eye for detail and the ability to simultaneously oversee many moving parts. Do you have complementary skills to ours? We are E-INTJ in our Myers-Briggs
• Self-Starter. Are you an entrepreneur already?
• Strong passion for technology, entrepreneurship, and investing. Can you talk tech with us?
• Fluent in English. German/French is a plus. We are French/British/Vietnamense
• Being a CRM Pro. We use Streak
